ID: 483736 The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Department of Psychology would like to announce a position opening for a Professional Research Assistant (PRA).
Responsibilities: The PRA will work directly with the Department of Corrections to evaluate offender programs in the criminal justice system by reviewing literature, identifying and collecting data elements, maintaining research databases, establishing quality assurance systems, collaborating with other professionals in the substance abuse treatment field, and writing research and evaluation reports.
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a MA/MS in psychology, sociology, or related field. Criminal justice and research experience are preferred and may be substituted for degree on a year-for-year basis. Applicants must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; exceptional computer and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail; and research experience. A demonstrated proficiency of Windows, Microsoft Office, and SPSS is preferred.
